Safety Setters

A Pupil Voice Safety Group is important because it helps make our school a safe and happy place for everyone. It gives children a chance to share their thoughts and worries about safety, and to help spot anything that might cause a problem.

It also means we can listen to each other. When we talk and work together, we understand how other people feel and what they need to feel safe at school.

Being part of the group helps us learn how to solve problems as a team. We can come up with ideas to make our school even safer. This builds our confidence and helps us get better at working with others.

Overall, the Pupil Voice Safety Group helps make our school a kind, safe, and supportive place where everyone can learn and feel protected.

The Safety Setters Pupil Voice Group is all about helping to make our school a safer place for everyone. We’ll be looking carefully at different things around the school, like the playground equipment, how well our fire drills work, and whether the school building feels safe.
One of our main jobs is to spot any safety problems we see—like a slippery hallway or a place that needs better lighting—and make sure adults know about them.

We’ll work with the headteacher and the chair of governors so they can listen to our ideas. Together, we’ll think of simple, sensible ways to make our school even safer. This might include doing regular safety checks or having children who help look out for safety around school.

Our voices matter, and by working as a team, we can help make our school a place where everyone feels safe and looked after. Let’s make a difference together!
