All staff at Gwaunfarren are concerned with the safeguarding and welfare of all children.

Mrs Francis (Family Liason Officer) is always available to speak to any parents who may have concerns they wish to discuss and is always ready to talk to pupils during the school day. The school adheres to its Safeguarding Policy, based on a model policy provided by the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Safeguarding Board.
